Chamber of
Commerce to award two educational scholarships

The Southern Monmouth Chamber
of Commerce will award two scholarships to high school graduating seniors
who plan to continue their education.
Applicants must reside in one of the following towns: Avon, Belmar,
Bradley Beach, Brielle, Lake Como, Manasquan, Neptune
City, Neptune, Ocean Grove, Sea
Girt, Spring Lake,
Spring Lake Heights
or Wall.
Applicants must submit an essay or painting that answers the question,
"What type of career would you like to pursue and why?"
The essay must be between 500 and 800 words. The painting can be any
medium, including oil, watercolors or acrylic, but must be 16 inches by 20
inches and must be accompanied by a summary statement.
